Dr. Selay Karbasi

Dr. Karbasi was raised in Phoenix and earned her Bachelors of Science degree from NAU, and then continued her education at ASU where she received her Master of Secondary Science Education.  She completed her DMD degree at A.T.Still University, and during her time in dental school she participated in multiple mission trips and saw the life changing impact that dentistry can have on her patients.  As for her clinical approach, she strongly believes in the oral systemic connection and strives to not only treat the patient's teeth, but their whole body as well.  Her mantra to patients is that their oral health is connected to their overall health. She is a certified Invisalign provider and Implant Pathway Alumni.  She is an active member in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Arizona Dental Association.  Outside the office, you'll find her hiking, running, doing pilates, and spending time with her husband, son, and daughter!

Dr. Austin Shackelford

Dr. Austin Shackelford is fortunate to be the 5th generation of his family to serve the dental field in the Valley for over 110 years. After being born and raised in Phoenix, he earned his BA degree at the University of Utah and was a captain of the baseball team. He returned home to Arizona and graduated with his DMD from A.T. Still University. Dr. Shackelford then completed specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Austin loves continuing his family legacy by providing optimal care to his patients using his strong foundation in general dentistry and his specialty training in the recognition, diagnosis, and management of oral diseases, infections, and cancer. He is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, and is a fellow of The American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology. In his free time, Dr. Austin enjoys running, biking, and hiking with his wife, Carleigh, and their two Australian Shepherds, Raine & Weezy. 

Dr. Mikayla Dolce

Dr. Mikayla Dolce, DMD, MPH is a native of Gilbert, Arizona. She attended Arizona State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in sociology, with a minor in human nutrition. Dr. Dolce received her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees in 2021 from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health in Mesa, AZ where she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, The National Dental Honors Society. 

In her free time, Dr. Dolce enjoys exercising, exploring Arizona, and spending time with her family and friends. She recently  married her high school sweetheart in October 2022. 

Dr. Dolce is known for her kind and gentle nature. She is passionate about providing the utmost patient care by communicating with compassion, comprehending a patient’s dental needs, and furthering her dental education.

Dr. Taryn Wollschlager 

Dr. Taryn grew up outside of Lake Tahoe, Nevada and attended undergrad at California Lutheran University where she played on the volleyball team while running the pre-dental program.  She then moved to Arizona to attend A.T. Still University and received her DMD degree.  She met her husband while attending dental school and together they have a beautiful son, Jack, and a daughter on the way!  Dr. Wollschlager loves to give back to her community and regularly participates in Give Kids a Smile and AZMOM.  Dr. Taryn also regularly attends monthly study clubs with fellow dentists while maintaining her continuing education.  When she isn't working, Dr. Taryn loves to run outside with her husband, golf, ski and spend time with her family and two French bulldogs.  Dr. Taryn believes in providing comprehensive dental care to her patients and enjoys getting to know them on a personal level.  Providing comfortable care is her specialty!
